We pulled out our copy of America's Best Lost Recipes and made runsas for dinner tonight. It's a slightly sweet bun stuffed with a filling made of beef, cabbage, and onions. Not much to 'em but, boy, are they delicious. I doused mine with brown gravy because I do find them to be a little on the dry side and, hey, any excuse for gravy is a good one!

Have never heard of these, but like you, will find any excuse for brown gravy! :)
I was just thinking about making these this week,,but we call them beirocks,,and we use hamburge,saurkraut,onion,,and then I dip mine in mustard,,yummy,,I might have to try them with brown gravy,,
